    Hi all
I just decided to quit drinking 4 days ago… Although it seems a LOT longer than that! Ive been a social drinker and alcohol abuser for about 4 years, but for the past 9 months or so I’ve taken it over the edge to drinking every night, going through a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka about every four days.
Well, I had mild anxiety and headaches the first couple days. Today however I feel so completely out of it. It feels like I am walking in a dream almost… there are no hallucinations or delusions! I just don’t feel right. Almost like I’m functioning 1000x slower than normal…
Anybody else feel the same way when going through withdrawals? Does it get any better? 🙁 I’m feeling really depressed about this quitting alcohol thing, almost like I’m losing a best friend. Hate to even admit it, but I’m not feeling too optimistic about this sobriety thing… could really use some support 🙁
