Hello,

I have been a oxycodone and hydrocodone addict for the past 6 years. I only miss days of using when I run out. I tried to stop last year and substituted alcohol. It worked to relax me at night after a brutal withdrawal during the day. Needless to say, by the end of the week i was using again and then i was addicted to both since. From time to time I use this website to make me feel i am not alone and people all over the world are going through what i am going through. (this site is very therapeutic & really makes me believe its possible to go back to the old me)

I am very close in my head to begin the fight to get my life back before i lose the things in my life that mean most.

What should a guy in my position do when im ready to act. ex. dr. help, therapy, depression medication?

I cannot go into a recovery program because I am the sole supplier of money in my household.

If possible please post some things for me to do to make this time I quit ( in the very near future) the last time. I know nothing is a guarantee but some things i could do to try to set myself up for success.
