Hey family…

One of the things that’s always irritated me is the term “dry drunk” simply because it seems to be elitist and condescending. Personally, I that if people find sobreity – by whatever means – then that’s great. I’m a big fan of AA, but I know people who’ve gotten sobriety in other programs and by other means. I don’t think their sobriety is any less significant than my sobreity.

I’d like to see this term disappear from the AA vocabulary.
