I’m new here. Today is my 2-year anniversary from demon alcohol. You know what they say about anniversaries. I didn’t feel like going out to a meeting today as I’m a bit tired (working nearly around the clock for 9 days) but I did feel a little bit of that twinge that I like to call my disease voice telling me how I have done such a good job at my work and it’s nice and sunny out and yada, yada…

Surfing around and found this site. Reading the posts was helpful – thank you! I wrote up my detox stories as well and posted them in the detox thread. That was helpful also since I hadn’t thought about how ludicrous it all was for quite a while now.

Anyway, I just wanted to say.

It’s been a beautiful day and it looks to be a beautiful evening as well.
