Inactivei need to find drug treatment that is little or no cost up front. I need to become employed and I have open court cases. I am pretty much in a bind. Does anyone have any information??

I missed the question Missy but post again!! I went through long term treatment and a whole bunch of nasty court stuff at the same time myself a few years back!! I came out of it alot better than I could of imagined thanx to staying clean and sober!!

InactiveIf opiates (heroin, oxycodone, dilaudid, morphine) are your problem you can find a methadone clinic in your area which will be very nearly free. (They charge you a few bucks each day for your dose but it will end up being like 1% of what your habit used to cost.) But methadone is a double edged sword, you have to be sure to enter into a detox program and stick with it, otherwise you end up a “lifer” and have to be maintained on the stuff basically for the rest of your life — hardly a cure!
After doing both methadone and suboxone I’ve become a big advocate of suboxone but unfortunately I don’t think are such things as a free suboxone clinics. There ought to be, though.
