He thinks that’s ‘a big decision to make’.

First, it doesn’t really matter what he thinks. I know what I need. But I thought it was odd. Maybe just naive? He’s been hurt by and worried about my drinking since we met 9 years ago. We have 2 (almost 3) children. He has offered to quit with me (I declined that offer. Don’t think it’s necessary). I’m happy sober and he’s proud of me.

Anyway I thought it was odd. I think he thinks that because I’m learning how to live sober that I could add alcohol back in on a limited basis (which I told myself the few times I quit in the past. We all know where that leads).

Not really sure what my point is. Maybe just wondering if anyone else has a partner who seems on the fence about long time sobriety?
