Suppose you had a child, 22 years old and away from home. You’re a recovered alcoholic and so is your wife and so are both of your parents. You know he has a drinking problem, he’s not that bad but you hear from his friends it’s progressively getting worse. You tried to get through to him by having an intervention and he listened. He made it 8 days in rehab, spared his job somehow and now he’s back where he started. He’s right…maybe he’s not a full blown alcoholic. But you know it’s likely only just the beginning of years and years of pain for him and maybe death if gets as bad as your father did. Would you encourage him to take Recovia?
