Well I couldn’t find an appropriate section to put this under so I may as well stick to my home turf. Recently over the past couple of days I’ve been going through some spells. I’ve been getting the shakes to the point were I can’t stay still at all. I have to move or I will just continue to shake violently. I have no idea whats causing these violent outbursts of the shakes. I know coke has a hand in it as well as the pot but should they be this violent were I pass out unconcious after they have stopped? I passed out a couple night ago and smacked my head off my bed post. This is unhealthy in my view cause what would happen if it occured during work or while I was driving? Does anyone have any tips for dealing with the shakes? Does anyone know why I go unconciouss after the shakes occur? I mean i lose all energy as soon as they stop. It’s like someone just cut the power to the hardline and I just shut down… is this normal? I know it can’t be. I’m rather concerned. I haven’t gone to the hospital yet do to the lack of funds, insurance and benefits fromt the current job. if anyone can give me any insight whatsoever to the situation at hand that would be much helpful thank you.September 30, 2013 at 3:42 pm#164784AnonymousInactive
Please see a doctor.

like sugah said, you should see a doctor. this isn’t your usual cold or flu sickness. your body is shutting down for some reason.
just fyi, i don’t think that would happen from marijuana. it could be the coke, it could be anything. i wouldn’t take a chance on that.
do you drive? what would happen if you passed out driving? i knew a famous tennis coach who passed out (from severely dieting) onto a glass table, and subsequently died from the wounds. don’t take your health for granted.September 30, 2013 at 4:33 pm#164792AnonymousInactive
thats the problem, I can’t afford to go to the doc’s yet, I need to make a little bit of money first with my job. thank you though for your insights Sugah and Afraid2Succeed, it’s been some help, still gonna try to see some more responses to my question to get a better understanding of the situation at hand. Believe me I would love to go to a doc to just be like hook me up on whatever ya need to to make me feel right but alas life is not that easy.September 30, 2013 at 8:36 pm#164787AnonymousInactive
Go to the ER. They will take you no matter what.October 1, 2013 at 2:15 am#164785AnonymousInactive
I have no medical insurance, you don’t need money or medical insurance to see a doctor for free, like they said go to the ER or to a medical health clinical, look in your phone book, I go to mine for free now. Once I got off meth, I had to get all that stuff taken care of, it’s a pain, but so worth it.October 1, 2013 at 2:53 am#164786AnonymousInactive
I havent had that severe of an experience but Ihave had this problem with my throat shutting so I cant eat or even drink water. Now that I m clean it happens when i am stressed but when I was smoking crack it happened almost every day. I had no problem after I quit but when I once did it again 5 months later it shut right up again. My therapist says our bodies tell us when we can or cant handle something. It has rung true for me.October 1, 2013 at 5:40 am#164789AnonymousInactive
What drugs are you coming off of to make you shake like this? Just cocaine, or is this an opiate withdrawal? You may need to taper instead of try cold-turkey.October 1, 2013 at 2:02 pm#164793AnonymousInactive
Marijuana, Cocaine and Alcohol abuse for many a year, the shakes haven’t occurred in 2 days now, maybe they were freak situations? I dunno.October 1, 2013 at 3:57 pm#164791AnonymousInactive
