InactiveJust wanted to say this…..
Meetings are not what keep you sober as has been said elsewhere, it is the program. I do not go to many f2f meetings, lots of reasons why. But I have absorbed quite a bit of the program as outlined in the BB and the 12 and 12.
Today I had a wonderful day, at peace with myself, quality time with my youngest. Went to the beach and it was beautiful, the ocean and just having a lovely time with my boy. Really saw the beauty of the colour of the water, the beauty of my son’s delight in childish things. When I got home, there was a message on my phone, telling me I was accepted by a landlord for a wonderful property.
Now it’s complicated, but it is not 100% guaranteed that I will get approved under the guidelines I have to follow. No need to bore you with the details. It’s bureaucratic requirements for a government scheme here for accomodation for people with disabilities.
But my god what a wonderful day. The promises in a life beyond our wildest dreams are real. The joy I felt today I have not felt in years. Thank you God.
