I have been sober for 10 months. A couple of nights ago I went out to dinner with Husband, Son and Aunt and Uncle. I said something I thought as very funny. Nobody else appreciated the humor in what I said which made it even funnier to me. I started laughing, harder and harder. I crossed that line into uncontrollable laughter. My Son was infected by my laughter and started laughing. My Husband looked at me like I lost my mind. My Aunt asked me if I took a happy pill. I said “No, but i am sober!” Ahhh, sobriety – the truely altered state!
