InactiveI’ve misplaced it the last few days. Maybe I left it at the mall or something. :13:
No, but really, I’ve been so tired lately, not much motivation, I’m forcing myself to do some stuff but it’s taking me all I have to just do that.
I know I’m anemic really bad so I have been taking a lot of iron pills, but that’s not working either.
Anyway, this isn’t really a question, more of a vent.
I needed to vent, because I’m sure you know where my head goes or what it wants, for ‘Instant Motivation’…..
My head feels like it’s in a fog. I remember this feeling from awhile ago.
Some of you won’t understand, but when I’d do even a small
line, it took the fog away.
Gave me concentration, motivation, etc…..There is no chance of a slip. I Will not turn to meth for my solution.
I just wish I could find the solution too just feel normal. This can be so frustrating….
Anyway, I think I will force myself to go for a run.
Which feels like torture right now, lol….:eek5:I am sure I’ll feel better once I get back, right?

InactiveDWi,
Sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Hope the fog lifts soon.
Have you seen a doctor about the anemia? The iron in your body has to go somewhere. Sometimes it is occult (hidden) bleeding in the intestinal tract. Or heavy menses. Best to get it checked out.

InactiveYea, I have had it bad all my life. They just always say I need to be on a strict regime of iron. I just had my blood taken and they said the same thing.

InactiveHey done,I’m anemic too – Its good that you’re taking iron tablets even if it doesn’t seem to be working at the moment imagine what you would be like if you weren’t taking them!!!
I sometimes get like this – no energy, no desire to do anything, no motivation, its a hard thing to snap out of. I normally do something completey different like go through my wardrobe and and toss out old clothes (I usually don’t end up throwing out anything but after going through a bundle of clothes I haven’t seen in a while and remembering where I got them etc I’m usually a bit perkier)
Or a face and hair mask – like a mini pamper day
I hope you feel a bit better after your run anyway!!!

Love DreamzWow!! Your post so Made Me Smile!
Man, we are Very Similiar in so many ways!!From colorful posts, to meth, to e.d. stuff!lol, to Anemia.Do you by chance have ADD also?
Your right, I may be much worse off than I am now, if I wasn’t downing Iron Pills like crazy.. I’m thinking that maybe I need to go and get an Iron B shot. Once when I was really sick, I went to a homepathic doctor, she gave me all these homepathic things, and a shot (which I hate).
She had me on several things, and drinking these little nasty things in the morning. I think Vitamin B, but damn did I feel better fast! It was amazing.I’m cranking Jimmy Buffett right now! That helped my foggy head!
lol, I LOVE him… He always makes me smile!!I think I’ll take your advice and I will
do a Parafin tonight.
Too bad your not close you
could come do one with me.
LOLThanks girl, Bright colors always rejuvinate me, lol.August 24, 2012 at 1:17 am#107052Anonymous
InactiveLOL Yeah I notice we have a few similarities – makes me laugh its like having a twin on the other side of the world!!!
Yeah I was reading about that wax thing – sounds like something I would like to try – might look into it here – I’ll let you know how I go!!!
Have a good day
Its 11:15am here Thursday morning I’m at work so far I’ve done nothing but post on 12 Step National MeetingsAugust 24, 2012 at 2:08 am#107036Anonymous
InactiveHeck I have to wear my darkers to read some of them here posts :).
Done, just to follow up a bit on what Buzz said. Perhaps you should get another medical opinion on the amount of iron you are ingesting.
Iron can accumulate in the body and symptoms of high levels of iron may include:
Drowsiness
Lack of desire to do anything.
Dizziness
Headache.I believe these are similar symptoms to the anaemia but finding the right baalnce to iron levels is what is important.

InactiveI was watching TV last night and the show had a young lady on it/
This guy was saying how her boyfriend was out shopping for something that would make her smile and it hangs around the neck… She replies with…
Oh? He is out getting me a monkey?
*LOL*
I thought of you at that moment.

InactiveWow, Thanks Peter, I did not know that.
I think in the next month I will go back to that one
homeopathic doctor.I liked her because she is not all into throwing you
a pill to fix this or that, etc.Well she did give me some, but they were homeo.
I really hate feeling like this, it sucks…
I’m used to always being on the go, getting things done.
Just venting….
Thanks though I will look more into the whole anemia thing
like you and Buzz said, because it has always been a major
thing for me. I can’t remember a doctor not ever telling me
that my iron count was extremely low.August 24, 2012 at 2:23 am#107045Anonymous

InactiveHey DOne, a great natural mental pick-me-up is ginger! Go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes and get some candied ginger. You only need to eat 1 or 2 pieces at a time. If there’s a lot of sugar on the outside of the pieces you can rinse it off. Takes the fog right out of my head.
I also want to tell you I read your entire thread of your fight to get off drugs and it was a fantastic, inpirational read. I’m a sister-in-law to an addict, and I am currently helping to raise that addict’s son. Reading what addicts go thru while they are detoxing and rehabbing helped me get rid of some of my anger towards her (altho’ I’m still hesitant to let her move back in to the house after she gets out of jail).August 24, 2012 at 5:33 pm#107046Anonymous

Thanks so much for reading that and the compliment.
I sometimes forget how hard it was, so I can imagine how hard
it is for someone who hasn’t been through it to understand. That’s so awesome you are helping your brother, and I don’t blame
you for being hesitant.
Let us know how it goes.I will definately try the ginger. I like ginger too, but I’ve never heard
of that before!Thanks!!
