Hi all. Today is going pretty good. I started a thread earlier discussing my routine being thrown off due to the holidays and it created a question.
At what point did you guys feel you weren’t on “high alert” trying to protect yourself against the first drink? I know the BB says we have to maintain a good spiritual condition in order to fight off the first drink. For this recovery thing is not only a daily thing, but it’s something I think about at least a few times per hour. I know that it is my only defense.
I guess the question is at what point did the “right thinking” just happen instead of forcing it? I certainly don’t mind forcing it. But would love to know when it just started to happen.
